DugoutDesk data portability promise

Your player data is never a hostage.

Authorized families and coaches can download a player's data at any time, in an open, machine-readable format. Player exports are free and do not require coach premium.

What the export includes

  • Player profile and roster history
  • Raw game-by-game batting, pitching, and fielding statistics
  • Lineup, defense, substitute, and tournament participation
  • Availability, time away, training, and milestones
  • Emergency contacts and equipment assigned to the player

How shared records work

Families receive their player's portion of shared team records. Coaches retain access to the team's official history. Exports do not disclose other players, contributor account identifiers, private coach material, or team conversations.

Exporting, leaving a team, and requesting deletion are separate controls so a family can take its information without damaging the team's historical totals.

When the same athlete identity is linked across teams, a verified guardian's archive follows the athlete and combines those records. A coach's archive remains limited to the roster record that coach is authorized to manage.

Open by design

The complete archive uses versioned JSON so another service can import it without scraping a PDF. DugoutDesk also provides a CSV of player statistics for spreadsheets. We document the export version inside every file so the format can evolve without silently changing its meaning.
