Add players and jersey numbers
Each team has a player pool. A season roster is who is active for that season. Add players once, then pick them for spring, fall, or a tournament.
Add a player
- Open the team, then Roster (or a season roster).
- Choose Add player. Enter first name, last name, and jersey number if you have it.
- DugoutDesk searches for an existing player identity before creating a new one. Reuse the existing record when it is the same athlete.
- Save. The player joins the team pool. Add them to the current season roster if they are playing this season.
Season roster vs pool
The season roster is the active list for lineups and stats. You can add everyone from the pool, or pick players one by one. Inactive pool players stay on the team history without appearing in this season’s lineup.
Jerseys and contacts
- Jersey number lives on the player profile and shows on lineups and box scores.
- Parent email on the profile can seed invite drafts. Nothing is sent until you review drafts in team settings.
