Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DugoutDesk at dugoutdesk.app and related mobile applications operated by DugoutDesk, LLC, a Kansas limited liability company. By using DugoutDesk, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The service is intended for use in the United States.

The service

DugoutDesk helps coaches record game statistics, manage schedules and rosters, share information with families, and — where enabled — stream games and save player clips. Features may change over time. Some features require a paid subscription.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or use the service with permission from a parent or guardian.

Coach and organization responsibilities

If you manage a team or organization, you are responsible for roster accuracy, coach permissions, family invites, and ensuring you have appropriate authority to enter player information.

You agree not to upload unlawful, harassing, or misleading content, and not to use the service to violate any person's privacy or intellectual property rights.

You are responsible for confirming permission to record and broadcast at the venue or event before using live video features, and for complying with league, tournament, school, and local rules that apply to photography and video.

Family access

Family members may access player information only when linked through an authorized invite. Shared stats and schedules are provided for personal team use, not for resale or public redistribution except through features explicitly designed for sharing.

Authorized family members may export their linked player's player-specific records in the formats DugoutDesk provides. The export excludes other players' personal information, private coach material, and team conversations.

Live video, replay, and player clips

DugoutDesk may provide live game streaming, full-game replay, and short player clips for authorized staff and families. These features are intended for U.S. use.

Before starting a live broadcast, an authorized adult must confirm in the product that they have permission to record and broadcast the event under the venue or event rules. Coaches with stream access and household guardians with an explicit stream-games grant may broadcast; family streamers are not coaches.

Authorized families may watch live video and replay without a separate viewer purchase while they remain linked to the team. Ending family membership ends team-video access. Saved player clips remain with the player under separate controls.

Full-game replays are retained for a limited window stated in product settings (currently 30 days after the stream ends, provisional). Authorized users may download replay while it remains available. Saved player clips do not inherit full-game expiry and remain until an authorized deletion.

Player clips stay within approved in-app audiences by default. External share links are not offered in the initial release. If external sharing is added later, withdrawal of guardian consent will revoke hosted external access immediately; copies already downloaded by viewers cannot be recalled.

Deleting one player's saved clip removes that player's copy across DugoutDesk while leaving the source recording and other players' separately saved copies in place.

By using video features you grant DugoutDesk a limited license to host, process, transcode, and deliver the media solely to operate the service for authorized audiences. Teammates and opponents may appear in the frame; consent screens disclose that incidental background participants are expected.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for any media you upload or broadcast. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DugoutDesk, LLC and its operators from claims arising from recording, broadcasting, or sharing media without required permission, or from your violation of venue, league, or applicable law.

Dugout DJ and walk-up music

Dugout DJ is a playback tool that can cue Apple Music tracks (or similar catalog playback) for walk-ups and between-inning playlists. DugoutDesk does not license commercial music recordings for public performance and does not host those recordings on our servers.

You are responsible for complying with Apple Music (or other music provider) terms on the playback device, and for any venue or public-performance license required for your event. Intended use is amateur and youth team events.

Short catalog previews used for search or trim are promotional tools under the music provider's terms; they are not a field public-performance license.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DugoutDesk, LLC and its operators from third-party music or public-performance claims arising from your use of Dugout DJ.

Chalk Talk

Chalk Talk is a coach premium chat for coaches and staff. Replies are advice grounded in the team information DugoutDesk already stores. They do not change the roster, lineup, or practice plan, and they are not medical advice.

Each reply sends the coach's message, saved notes, and a roster and stats summary for that team, including other seasons and tournaments on the same team, to Google Gemini to generate the answer. Failed replies are not counted against the team's AI generation allowance. Guardians and players cannot use Chalk Talk.

You are responsible for the questions you ask and the notes you choose to save.

App Store license

On iOS, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to App Store distribution of the DugoutDesk app. These Terms and the Privacy Policy describe DugoutDesk service behavior, including video and music features, in addition to that arrangement. We do not replace Apple's standard EULA with a custom App Store license agreement.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans may be purchased through the in-app purchase option presented on your device or through Stripe on the web, according to the pricing and channel shown at purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. In-app subscriptions are managed in your device account settings. Stripe subscriptions are managed through the billing portal or account settings on the web.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, by the applicable marketplace's refund policies, or as explicitly stated at checkout.

We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Downgrades or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

Team streaming and player clips are included with coach premium for the team that creates them (60 ready-clip minutes per team per month and one concurrent live stream). Families watch without a separate viewer purchase. Coaches may recover costs from families through dues or other invoicing features. Organization-level streaming allowances may be added later; until then org teams use the same per-team coach-premium gate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Access data you are not authorized to view.
• Use the service for spam, malware, or unlawful activity.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with a team or organization.
• Redistribute live streams, replays, or player clips outside audiences the product authorizes, except where an explicit sharing feature permits it.

Intellectual property

DugoutDesk and its branding, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the service.

Disclaimer

DugoutDesk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Stats, schedules, suggestions, streams, and clips may contain errors or interruptions. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it for game decisions, playing time, or medical or safety judgments.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DugoutDesk, LLC and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Kansas have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the service, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Termination

You may stop using DugoutDesk at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
