Lineups, DP/FLEX, and courtesy runners
Open the game Lineup tab. Drag the batting order, assign DP/FLEX when your rules allow it, and keep substitutes on the game without putting them in the nine.
Build the order
- Open the game, then Lineup.
- Drag players into batting slots. Copy a previous game or a saved template if you reuse the same order.
- Mark DP and FLEX on softball games when the rulebook allows it. Rulebook hints appear on the editor.
- Save. Live scoring and stat grids follow this order.
Courtesy runners
Use courtesy runners from the lineup or live scorer when your rules allow a runner for pitcher or catcher. The substitution is recorded on the game without rewriting the whole batting order.
AI lineup
Suggested batting orders with explanations are coach premium. You can always edit or ignore a suggestion before you save.
