Chalk Talk
Chalk Talk is the private chat for coaches and staff. Ask about development, practice focus, or end-of-season awards. Replies use this team’s roster and stats. Notes stick only after you keep them.
Open it
- The button and the team tab appear when Chalk Talk is turned on for that team.
- Use the Chalk Talk button on any coach screen, or open the Chalk Talk tab on the team.
- Start a chat. The button can open that same chat as a team tab.
What it can see
Each reply is grounded in the current season or tournament roster, batting and pitching lines, recent games, and the upcoming schedule, plus compiled lines from this team’s other seasons and tournaments. Thin samples are treated as thin. Chalk Talk does not pull another team’s career stats.
Notes and quota
- Suggested notes stay proposed until you keep, edit, or delete them. Only saved notes are remembered later.
- Each reply uses one coach AI generation. A failed reply is not counted.
- Chalk Talk does not save a lineup or a practice plan. Use those tools when you want something written down.
- Guardians and players do not see this chat. Team Messages stay separate.
